Mark Lapwood, an acclaimed cinematographer with over a quarter-century of professional experience, has made his mark in the world of documentaries, television commercials, music videos, and feature films.

He earned prestigious accreditation with the Australian Cinematographers Society in 2006 and the New Zealand Cinematographers Society in 2021.

His work displays mastery in lighting design and camera operation when filming in the studio and on locations around the world. Mark’s cinematography is characterised by a keen eye for natural beauty, capturing the essence of people, landscapes, architecture, and wildlife in a unique and appealing way.

Mark's work revolves around crafting compelling visual narratives, skilfully weaving together sequences that convey powerful storytelling.

Esteemed industry giants such as Netflix, National Geographic, Discovery, BBC, UK Channel 4, SBS, and the NZ Film Commission have entrusted Mark with their feature and series projects.
